Tecumseh High School

The High School hosted its first Senior Conference designed to provide information as seniors prepare to enter adulthood. Travis Flood of Community Renewal, as keynote speaker, shared insights from his life experiences in making the transition from high school into greater independence as an adult. Small group topics included: Buying a Vehicle; Acquiring Your First House/Apartment; Adulting 101; College Success'; Paying for College; Building Your Network; Workforce Innovation; and, Making Wise Health Decisions to name a few. All seniors attended a session addressing financial literacy facilitated by Bancfirst, First United Bank, and Tinker Federal Credit Union.  The Conference also included a variety of vendors offering services and/or potential employment. All students had the opportunity to visit with the vendors. Event planners are grateful to Tecumseh PCG for allowing the use of their facilities for the event.
