The Tecumseh Indian Education program along with the THS Native American Club are sponsoring a stomp dance and chili dinner on January 26. The event will be held at the THS Alumni Center with dinner being served at 6 pm in the cafeteria. Dancing will begin at 7 pm and will run until 10 pm. Program emcee is Leon Bell.
Dinner will include a chili supper and all the trimmings along with desserts and drinks. Admission to dance and the dinner is free and open to people of all ages. You do not have to be an enrolled tribal member to participate.
Indian Education program director Victor Cope is currently soliciting donations for the cake walk as well as raffles to be held during the festivities. If you would like to donate items please contact him at (405) 598-2067. The public is invited to dine and/or dance or simply watch.
