The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and its emergence in the U.S. are prompting questions about its impact on our schools. The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is monitoring this rapidly developing situation and preparing regular updates. We will keep you informed.

Congratulations to Tecumseh's FFA and 4H organizations on their recent and very many wins at the Pott County Junior Livestock Show. We are very proud of the goals you set and achieved this year during exhibition season. Good luck to those moving on to the Oklahoma Youth Expo!

It's the last day of Read Across America week. We get to wear our favorite pajamas to school tomorrow and listen to some very special readers who will be visiting our school. See you there!

What a day for our Savage Pride Concert Band. It received straight ones in stage performance and sight reading at district competition. That is music to our ears! Congratulations.

TECC News -- It's Wacky Wednesday which is day 3 of Read Across America week. So wear your wackiest hairdo and your wackiest clothes to TECC tomorrow. Learning and loving to read is a big goal of our pre k and kindergarten students Help us celebrate our new reading skills!


Tecumseh Alumni Association invites everyone to its annual Turkey Noodle Dinner on Sunday, March 8 from 11 am - 2 pm in the THS Alumni Center. Proceeds help fund scholarships made to Class of 2020 seniors. Tickets are $8 for adults 11 and up and $4 for children 10 and under.


TECC News -- Tomorrow is day 2 of the Read Across America event and it's been declared Green Eggs and Ham Day so wear your green to school and make the Grinch smile!

Congratulations Lady Savages for defeating Pauls Valley and securing yourselves a place in the area basketball tournament on Thursday, March 5. You're rolling now. Don't stop!


Thanks to the mild weather the track resurface project is moving along at a rapid pace. Patching is complete and the overlay surface will start this weekend. Runners get ready the day is almost here. This project is funded by the Pottawatomie County Half Cent Sales Tax measure.
