Tomorrow, October 13 is the last day to visit the TMS all virtual fall book fair. Students will need to browse and purchase directly from the Scholastic Books website this year instead of in person. The bracket for the fastpitch state tournament has been released. Tecumseh will play Skiatook at 4pm on October 15 at Oklahoma Softball Hall of Fame stadium. The winner will advance to the 1:30pm game on Friday, October 16. Championship finals are Saturday at noon. Ticket prices for all ages are $10.

Savage sports fans this is a reminder that appropriate face masks by all attendees will be required at tonight's football game with the Cushing Tigers. Admission gates will open at 6pm.
In addition, congratulations to the Lady Savage fastpitch team which secured the regional championship this afternoon with a perfect 3-0 tournament record. The girls will begin first round play in the Class 4A state tournament on Thursday, October 15.
Savage football fans planning to attend the game on Friday, October 9 at home against Cushing, please be aware that the admission gates will not open until 6pm. Game time is 7pm.
The football homecoming ceremonies scheduled for 6:30 pm on October 9 have been postponed until the Harrah vs. Tecumseh game on October 23 due to ongoing COVID illnesses and quarantines. The football game with Cushing (October 9), the fastpitch regional tournament (October 8-9) and the Tecumseh Cross Country Invitational (October 8) will go on as planned if no new illnesses or quarantines develop. Last day to file is September 30! Funding for public schools is largely dependent on information obtained from the US Census which gathers information from citizens every ten years. If you haven't completed your census for 2020 you can do it online. Public education needs your input. Every person counts!

Savage football fans -- We still have a few tickets for sale for tomorrow night's game at Ada. All spectators must have an advance ticket and no tickets will be sold at the stadium gates. Admission is $5 CASH regardless of age. The remaining tickets will be sold tomorrow morning, September 25 from 9am-noon in the THS library. Please bring exact change and wear a face covering when visiting our campus. Also, face coverings will be required at the football game.
Attention Tecumseh football fans— If you are planning to attend the football game in Ada on Friday, September 25 you will need to purchase advanced tickets because there will be an attendance cap on the game due to COVID 19 guidelines. All tickets are $5 CASH regardless of age. We will sell tickets at Tecumseh High School tonight from 5:30-7:30 pm at the football field ticket office. You can also buy tickets on Thursday, September 24 from 8:30-11:30 am in the Tecumseh High School library. Tickets can be purchased by students or parents. When visiting our campus please wear a face covering and bring correct change.
The fastpitch game scheduled to be played in Purcell today has been moved to Tecumseh High School. Game time is 4:30pm at the Tecumseh field.
Parents -- Career Encounters Day at OSU Institute of Technology-Okmulgee Campus is Tuesday, October 13 for all interested high school juniors and seniors. This year the event will be ALL virtual. No travel is required. They will offer department and campus-wide tours, skills demonstrations, interactive Q&A meetings with faculty and current students and more! This is a great way to help your child set their career plans in motion. Many programs offered at OSUIT have limited enrollment space so planning early is the best way to guarantee acceptance to the school. Information sessions will run 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. This message is for parent/guardians of students who ride our school buses. Our transportation department anticipates that buses 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10 will be as much as 30-40 minutes behind schedule for several days in picking up students in the morning and dropping them off in the afternoon. We are experiencing a severe shortage of qualified bus drivers. If you or someone you know has a safe driving record, a CDL certification and is interested in driving a bus for the school district please call our office at (405) 598-3739 to talk about joining our school staff.
